Moppets

Our curriculum is designed to teach children biblical concepts and truths through play and exploration. Each lesson focuses on a person or story in the bible. The lessons include the daily bible verse, bible story, music, activities, and a craft. Throughout the year, the kids will gain biblical knowledge and learn how the bible concepts and truths can be used in their own lives. The planned activities and crafts will allow the kids to experience movement, sound, a variety of art and sensory materials, storytelling, and acting. The curriculum is divided into 2 groups (Ages 1-2 and Ages 3-5) in order to provide age appropriate activities and crafts for your child.  This will be a fun year learning about God and his creation!

We use an electronic check in that you will find just outside the Moppets rooms in the main lobby area. All parent and child information has already been entered for you, however please plan to arrive a few minutes early as the first day will likely take a little more time. Please use the main entrance when you come, as the side door will be locked for security and safety.

Please label everything with your child's first name and last initial, such as diaper bags and sippy cups that may be dropped off with your little one. This will be a big help to the Moppet's volunteers in the care they give our kids.

We need your help re-stocking the snacks our kiddos will have during our meetings this year. We ask that you donate a "large" box of Pepperidge Farm Cheddar Goldfish twice a year, once in the fall and again in the spring.

Sick Kid Policy

 A friendly reminder to please not bring sick kids to MOPS. We understand that many kids have cold symptoms through the winter, but are not necessarily sick. If they do have any of the following symptoms, please keep them home:

fever greater than 100.5 within the past 24 hours
* a green/yellow runny nose
* excessive coughing
diarrhea or vomiting within the last 48 hours
* impetigo
* active chicken pox, measles, mumps, conjuctivitis (pink eye), fifths disease, foot and mouth (still has rash), any questionable rashes.

We want to do our best to keep all the children and caregivers healthy!
